The following fungi have been identified in the burial ground:
Bracket (Inonotus radiates)
Brittle Cinder (Kretzschmaria deusta)
Dead Moll’s Fingers (Xylaria longpipes)
Giant Polypore (Meripilus giganteus)
Orange Grisette (Amanita crocea)
Slime mould (Fuligo septica)
(Coprinus cinereus)
Due to historical neglect, the ground has become something of a wildlife haven with trees over 250 years old, various wildflowers and grasses.
